Great idea just poorly executed.

2.25 stars. The idea of the wealthy, handsome head of a large jewelry store change, Roman Pratt, being attracted to the smart, talented and pretty owner of a small quaint jewelry boutique, Alexis Turner, are the ingredients of a good love story. For me, the story started to fall apart due to Alexis' attitude, she was vain and duplicitous; and I found her unlikeable. Roman, on the other hand was truly contrite about possibly being the cause of her going out of business. In reality, is was in serious financial trouble and was on the verge of losing the store. He gave her a job making more than she ever could and she knew it. She also was attracted to him but kept accusing him of running her out of business. But for all that, it was the unrealistic and unnatural dialogue between the characters the was the final nail.

Not the best Beatle book by far.

Martin is better at describing machines rather than people. Sadly, readers would rather learn something new about the people than about out-dated technology. Did you read that he thinks he's the most important member of the Beatles?

Interesting and Quick Account of George...Not Harrison That Is

If you are looking for insight to the Beatles, their lives and music, there are a lot of other books, and let's face it...George Martin was the "mentor, teacher, and icon" for the boys who really admired the work he did with the Goons when they were children. So although they worked together closely and George was part of the early "inner circle" he was not really privy to the boys private lives and inspirations, kind of an inner outsider who became their "musical errand boy" in other words, "George, make it happen." I believe the flaws in this book include a lack of insight to his developing creative relationship with Paul McCartney at the time of Pepper that really changed music and society in general, and the intense focus on his tragic EMI relationship that I also found disturbing but not surprising. But these are things that shaped history and provide Beatle fans with other pieces of the puzzle. If you want the inside look at George Martin's life before and after the boys, this is the only game in town and worth a read...which only required a few hours.

George Martin Book - Excellent

This book by George Martin is excellent. He walks through the history of recording music and includes with it the story of the Beatles. As a music lover, I found this book to be fascinating. I would imagine that younger people, who are merely familiar with CD recordings and itunes, would enjoy the technical challenges that were dealt with in earlier days of the recording industry. I found it extremely interesting to listen to the Beatles songs after I heard the methods used to create the sounds. Enjoy!

About the Author
Dr. Aschheim has more than 25 years of private practice experience in all aspects of cosmetic and restorative dentistry. He has lectured and conducted workshops throughout the world and has been a major contributor to the dental literature.

He joined the staff of the Department Of Dentistry at the Mount Sinai Medical Center in as a Clinical Instructor and was promoted to Assistant Professor in 1992 and Section Chief of Esthetic Dentistry and Advanced Technologies in 1999. He was elevated to Associate Clinical Professor in 2004. He also joined the staff of the Advanced Programs for International Dentists at New York University College of Dentistry as an Associate Clinical Professor in 2011.

Following the September 11th attack of the World Trade Center, Dr. Aschheim became a dental consultant to the Office of the Medical Examiner for the City of New York. He was instrumental in setting up the digital image acquisition section and served as a liaison between the department and the developer of the dental identification software utilized by the NYC Medical Examiner's office. Since that time he has developed a new software package that should further reduce the time necessary to make a dental identification in mass disasters and has given lectures and workshops on the subject. He was appointed Assistant Chief Forensic Odontologist to the New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner in 2009. He has also consulted throughout the world on Forensic Dental Informatics and won the ADA SCDI Informatics award in 2011.

Mediocre at best

Attractive layout, nice diagrams, broad coverage of areas. Very poor information. Lack of basic info. For example, according to the book, the ideal prep for a pfm is 360 shoulder with bevel. I don't think anyone would seriously use this. Discussion of luting and cements for all ceramics is cursory. In conclusion: there are much better sources out there for the money. Steer clear.

There is a lot of information out there on life coaching, and as a business owner and now a full-time Life Coach, the best decision I made regarding my career was to utilize Mitch and David's methods. I spent a year researching trainers and techniques and found Mitch and David's concepts to be the best. They cover the what and why of being a life coach, and importantly for me, they give you the practical steps that will help you turn it into a reality. Not only is their material great, Mitch and David are genuine. They more than delivered what they promised. Thanks to their teaching, I have successfully transitioned from a business that I was good at but didn't fulfill me to one that I spent years dreaming about and absolutely love. So if I can save you some time, these guys are the real deal and their book will motivate and give you the answers you need.

Here's what's awesome about this book. It's not filled with theory and hype. It's practical and you can take what you've read and apply it immediately. The stories are insightful, the activities are based on real life and already tested and the ideas will fire you up.

And if you're on the fence about whether or not this is the right career shift for you or just getting started-- the questions and exploration should help clarify things for you.

I'd highly recommend this book if it costs $19.99 but for 99 cents -- it's a steal!

I'm biased. I'll say it up front. I trained through Mitch and David and continue to learn through the Mastermind group, podcasts and ongoing web posts. I love that Mitch and David created a book that encapsulated the Elite Life Coach training process. Beyond the contents of the book itself there is more to learn from their online tools and videos. Thanks for openly sharing tips and tricks, personal experiences with coaching real clients to achieve real goals (Dreams), and your willingness "out yourselves" about what worked well (and what didn't) as you were learning and growing your practices.
